About Bogarts

Built in 1976, Bogart's has always been a favorite among locals. The original owner, Kenny Wyatt enjoyed a successful run for over 20 years as Waynesville's favorite hang out. In 2000, Marty Lowe assumed ownership. With some remodeling and combination of hand picked new and old staff members, Marty transformed Bogart's from a hang out into a great restaurant. Now all the people that enjoyed Bogart's Restaurant in their younger days were able to bring their families for a great dinner. In 2011 Marty decided to retire, selling the restaurant to Blake Sneed, part of Marty's original hand picked team and the cook. Blake had fresh ideas in store for Bogart's. In love with the local history Blake has redecorated and remodeled to share this love with his customers. Not forgetting that food is what we do, he has added some new additions to the menu and taken a step up in meat quality, serving USDA Choice Angus beef. Blake is breathing new life into an already great restaurant. Known for the best steaks in Waynesville, Blake can still be found at the grill every weekend making sure his customers are happy and satisfied.
